Background The Naval Submarine Support Facility (NSSF) is seeking to procure Indoor Weapons Range Maintenance services to support its mission of providing training and certification for Navy, DoD, Federal, and local components. The NSSF's Small Arms Range is crucial for maintaining readiness in the Navy Region Mid Atlantic and requires uninterrupted availability for its customers. This contract aims to ensure the proper maintenance of the range's target and control systems, ventilation controls, and overall functionality. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Performing preventive maintenance on a quarterly basis; 2. Conducting full maintenance events on targets including testing valves and pistons, adjusting target speed, inspecting electrical connections, and diagnosing potential problems; 3. Maintaining compressors and air lines by checking oil levels, draining condensation, testing for leaks; 4. Ensuring electrical systems are functional by testing voltage levels and securing enclosures; 5. Maintaining the control room equipment including computers and software updates; 6. Servicing the dust collection unit and screw conveyor system; 7. Providing all necessary cleaning equipment, supplies, and basic repair parts; 8. Responding to emergency repairs within 48 hours of notification; 9. Delivering a Post Preventive Maintenance Report after each service detailing work performed and any issues found. Period of Performance Base Year: August 1, 2026 - July 31, 2027; Option Year 1: August 1, 2027 - July 31, 2028; Option Year 2: August 1, 2028 - July 31, 2029; Option Year 3: August 1, 2029 - July 31, 2030; Option Year 4: August 1, 2030 - July 31, 2031.
