Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Lakes and Rivers Division (LRD), Buffalo District is issuing this request for quote to remove foreign debris and materials from the Black Rock Channel, Buffalo Harbor, and River. Additionally, the contractor will clear brush from Bird Island Pier. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and efficient navigation and environmental integrity of these waterways. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Mobilization/Demobilization of equipment and personnel necessary for the project. 2. Snagging and clearing operations in the Black Rock Channel. 3. Snagging and clearing operations in the Buffalo River and Harbor. 4. Brush removal on Bird Island Pier. The work must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including safety requirements outlined in attached documents. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided). Place of Performance The work will be performed at Black Rock Channel, Buffalo Harbor, Buffalo River, and Bird Island Pier. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide a completed Quote including Form 1449 with all amendments acknowledged, a fully completed Bid Schedule for all base items, and completed Representation and Certifications (Reps and Certs) Form.
