Stanley Door Maintenance

Summary: Background NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk is seeking a contractor to provide semi-annual maintenance for five sliding glass Stanley doors at Naval Station Norfolk. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the doors in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This maintenance is critical for operational efficiency and safety at the facility. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks as part of the semi-annual maintenance: 1. Inspect equipment for visible damage or wear, including weather strips and door felt. 2. Check and inspect hanger wheels, track/cap; adjust or replace as necessary with authorization. 3. Inspect locking systems, lubricate, adjust or replace as necessary with authorization. 4. Clean and inspect floor tracks; note excessive wear and determine reasons. 5. Inspect bottom guides; if excessive wear is noted, obtain authorization for replacement. 6. Inspect safety decals to meet ANSI codes; install/replace as necessary with authorization. 7. Check break out force and adjust lubricate ball detents & SO panel pivots as necessary. 8. Adjust door closing force to meet ANSI codes as applicable. 9. Clean and adjust drive belt tension; inspect wiring if loose. 10. Check motor/gearbox for wear/noise; replace as needed with authorization. 11. Adjust operational speeds to not exceed ANSI standards. 12. Adjust threshold sensors/safety beams to meet ANSI standards. 13. Adjust motion sensor ranges and verify time delay; note any problems. 14. Clean the glass and header. Period of Performance Base period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with four option years extending through June 30, 2031. Place of Performance Naval Station Norfolk, Building W-143, located at 1968 Gilbert Street, Norfolk VA, 23511. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have experience in maintaining Stanley automatic doors and possess all necessary certifications from Stanley Access Technologies to perform maintenance services on their products.
