Summary: Background The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk is seeking to procure semi-annual maintenance services for five sliding glass Stanley doors located at Naval Station Norfolk. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of these doors through regular maintenance as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Work Details The contractor shall provide semi-annual maintenance for five Stanley glass sliding doors. The scope of work includes: 1. Inspecting equipment for visible damage or wear, including weather strips and door felt. 2. Checking and inspecting hanger wheels, track/cap, and adjusting or replacing as necessary with authorization. 3. Inspecting locking systems, lubricating, adjusting, or replacing as necessary with authorization. 4. Cleaning and inspecting floor tracks and noting excessive wear. 5. Checking bottom guides for excessive wear and obtaining authorization for replacement if needed. 6. Inspecting safety decals to meet ANSI codes and installing/replacing as necessary with authorization. 7. Checking break out force, adjusting and lubricating ball detents and SO panel pivots as necessary. 8. Adjusting door closing force to meet ANSI codes as applicable. 9. Checking drive belt tension, cleaning, and inspecting wiring. 10. Checking motor/gearbox for wear/noise and replacing as needed with authorization. 11. Adjusting operational speeds to meet ANSI standards. 12. Adjusting threshold sensors/safety beams to meet ANSI standards. 13. Adjusting motion sensor ranges to meet ANSI codes and verifying time delay issues if any arise. 14. Cleaning the glass and header. Period of Performance Base period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027; with four option years extending through June 30, 2031. Place of Performance Naval Station Norfolk, Building W-143, located at 1968 Gilbert Street, Norfolk VA, 23511. Bidder Requirements Bidders must be able to provide all tools, equipment, materials, and chemicals necessary for the maintenance tasks outlined in the PWS; they must also have access to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts from Stanley Access Technologies due to proprietary requirements.
