The River Vale Board of Education is inviting sealed bids for Substitute Teacher/Aide Staffing Services, which includes both per diem and long-term substitute teachers, as well as substitute aides. Bidders can inspect and pick up the bid instructions, forms, and specifications from the Business Administrator/Board Secretary, Ms. Kelly Ippolito, at the Board offices during business hours, which are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. All bidders are required to complete the bid forms and comply with all specifications and instructions. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to Ms. Kelly Ippolito at the River Vale Board of Education, with the project name clearly marked on the envelope. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond amounting to 10% of the bid, capped at $20,000. Additionally, a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate is required for all bids, as per P.L. 2004 c.57. Bidders must also adhere to the Law Against Discrimination and Affirmative Action requirements. The deadline for submitting bids is 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and bids will be publicly opened at that time. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder who meets all requirements. No bid will be accepted until a formal resolution is adopted by the Board of Education.
