Enterprise AI Governance Administration

Background

The State of Tennessee, Department of Finance and Administration, Strategic Technology Solutions is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather insights from vendors regarding enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance Administration platforms and their operational governance capabilities. The RFI aims to understand the current AI governance market, evaluate capabilities, assess architectural approaches, and gather information to inform future procurement strategies. The State recognizes the rapidly evolving nature of AI governance and seeks to distinguish between various governance capabilities.

Work Details

The RFI focuses on enterprise AI Governance Administration capabilities, including: AI inventories, governance workflows, policy management, risk classification, approvals, centralized governance visibility, and enterprise governance lifecycle management. Additionally, the State seeks information on broader operational AI governance capabilities such as runtime governance, AI security & privacy, prompt inspection, runtime monitoring, Human-in-the-Loop governance, operational traceability, telemetry, provenance, AI observability, policy enforcement, and emerging assurance capabilities. Respondents should identify production capabilities available now or in the future and any custom implementation needs.

Period of Performance

Responses to this RFI are due by July 13, 2026. The timeline for any subsequent procurement actions will be determined based on the information gathered through this RFI.
