Background

UTHSA conducts clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas and patient populations. Traditional reimbursement methods such as paper checks, manual review processes, and site-level reimbursements have led to administrative inefficiencies, payment delays, and inconsistencies across study sites. These issues can negatively affect patient experience, reduce retention, and create audit vulnerabilities. To address these challenges, UTHSA intends to continue its Payment Card Program, which provides a modern, electronic payment solution for clinical trial participants.

Contract Requirements
