Airport Terminal Lease, Self Service Fuel System and Aboveground Storage Tank Operations

Background

The City of Georgetown is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified parties interested in leasing the Terminal and Fuel Self-Serve Island along with the Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST) located at 500 Terminal Dr at the Georgetown Executive Airport at Johnny Gantt Field. The goal of this contract is to secure a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) or a party that can demonstrate the ability to become a permitted FBO within 60 days from the proposal due date.

Work Details

The successful proposer will enter into a lease agreement for the following: 1. Leasing of the Terminal and Fuel Self-Serve Island. 2. Leasing of Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST). 3. The proposer must provide a detailed proposal that includes lease rates for: - Tank Lease Rate (Quantity: 1, UOM: EA) - Land Lease Rate (Quantity: 1, UOM: EA) - Terminal Facility Lease Rate (Quantity: 1, UOM: EA) - Proposed Airport Improvement Fee based on an annual estimate of 1,000,000 gallons of fuel. - Fuel Flowage Fee set by the Airport, which may be adjusted periodically based on operational costs.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon execution of the lease agreement following selection of the successful proposer and will continue as specified in the lease terms.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at Georgetown Executive Airport at Johnny Gantt Field, located at 500 Terminal Dr, Georgetown, TX.

Bidder Requirements

Proposers must be a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) or demonstrate their ability to become a permitted FBO within 60 days from the proposal due date.
