The Central New York Regional Transportation Authority (CNYRTA) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure lift-equipped vehicle transportation services for its para-transit service, Call-a-Bus (CAB), mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Work Details

The contractor will provide lift-equipped vehicle services, including: - Availability of vehicles Monday through Friday, with specific operational hours ranging from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on the schedule. - Services must be curb-to-curb or door-to-door, with drivers providing assistance as needed without entering residential or commercial buildings. - Drivers must maintain sight of their vehicles while in service and assist passengers with seat belts and other needs. - A live contact must be available from 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after service hours to manage scheduling and trip requests. - Drivers are required to use a smart device with the VIA Driver app for tracking mileage, fare payments, and arrival times. All drivers must adhere to a strict schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on November 1, 2026, and will run until October 31, 2031, covering a total duration of five years.

Place of Performance
