Furnishing and Delivery of Various Aggregate Materials Jones County Maintenance Locations

Background

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is issuing this solicitation to establish an agency-specific term contract for the furnishing and delivery of various aggregate materials to Jones County Maintenance locations. The goal is to ensure the availability of approved aggregate materials for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects throughout the state.

Work Details

The contract will involve the provision of various types of aggregate materials as specified in the bid. The estimated quantities include: - 3000 tons of Aggregate, ABC - Granite - 2000 tons of Aggregate, Screenings - Standard Specifications - 3500 tons of Aggregate, ABC - Granite All materials must conform to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures. Delivery will be made Free-On-Board (FOB) Destination to specified Jones County Maintenance locations within twenty (20) consecutive calendar days after receipt of order.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be one (1) year from the date of final contract execution, with potential extensions subject to vendor agreement.

Place of Performance

Deliveries will be made to two locations in Trenton, NC:

104 Hwy 41 East

- 379 Nobles Loop Rd.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and provide evidence of such registration within ten business days upon notification of award. Vendors are also required to complete various attachments including HUB Supplemental Vendor Information, Certification of Financial Condition, and details about the Producer/Supplier Quarry or Pit Facility from which aggregates will be sourced.
