Rigdon Center Roof Restoration and Repairs

Scope of Work

The project involves the restoration and repair of the metal roof at the Rigdon Center, located at 1958 Lewis Turner Blvd, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547. The work to be performed includes: - Application of a fluid-applied waterproofing membrane system with Polyurethane resin coatings to several areas of the metal roofing. - Installation of a synthetic rubber cold-applied coating on the Rigdon metal roof. - Coating to be applied to the following areas: - Foyer area: 3,200 sq ft - Doolittle (A1 and A2): 17,500 sq ft - Bowlegs (B) Bathrooms area: 1,100 sq ft - Field measurements must be conducted by the contractor prior to submitting a quote to ensure accuracy of square footage.

Contract Requirements

- Preparation of the metal roof surface, which includes scraping, sanding, wire brushing, or blasting clean with TSP or Simple Green. - Use of portable blowers to clear the roof of moisture. - Application of seam sealer to all seams. - Base coat and topcoat application with synthetic rubberized restorative coating, strictly following the manufacturer's specifications. - Power washing of the entire roof using a 3000 PSI power washer (water to be supplied by the property).
