RIDE Child Nutrition, School Health, Career and Tech Programs Education Support

Background

The Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is seeking a vendor to manage support professionals who will assist in programmatic and fiscal operations across all aspects of child nutrition programs, school health programs, and career and technical education programs. The goal of this contract is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of these educational support services.

Work Details

The vendor will be responsible for managing support professionals tasked with assisting in the operational management of child nutrition programs, school health programs, and career and technical education programs. This includes overseeing programmatic activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing budgets, and providing necessary training and support to staff involved in these programs.

Period of Performance

The initial contract period will begin approximately upon contract issuance for five years. Contracts may be renewed for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and the availability of funds.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within the State of Rhode Island.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit responses. They are required to comply with insurance requirements including liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, workers' compensation, automobile liability, and professional liability insurance. Additionally, vendors must demonstrate participation rates for minority-owned (MBE) or women-owned (WBE) businesses as part of their proposal.
