Remodel Two Bathrooms at Conway in Erie County

Background

The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Contract Management Unit, Design and Construction, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to remodel two bathrooms at 65 Conway St., Depew, NY 14043. This project is part of the Western NY DDSOO's initiative to enhance facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Work Details

The scope of work includes remodeling two bathrooms as per the specifications outlined in the Project Manual and Drawings. Contractors must familiarize themselves with all relevant documents, including Bidding, Contracting, and General Requirement Specification Documents. The project is classified as a Wicks Exempt Project, meaning that it does not require separate contracts for plumbing and electrical work. All work must comply with prevailing wage laws.

Period of Performance

The work is expected to commence upon contract award and must be completed within the timeframe specified in Section 011000 of the Specifications. The substantial completion date will be determined based on project specifications.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a bid security deposit of $6,400.00 and submit a Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (CCA-2), references and experience documentation, a list of proposed subcontractors, a detailed estimate, and proof of required insurances prior to contract award. Bidders are also required to register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i if they have not done so already.
