Security Upgrades At The Cross Bay Bridge And Marine Parkway Bridge

Scope of Work

The contract involves comprehensive security upgrades at both the Cross Bay Bridge and the Marine Parkway Bridge. The specific work to be completed includes: - Drilling and grouting anchor bolts - Installing tower structural steelwork using steel located at the Marine Parkway Bridge - Testing existing light fixtures and panelboards - Excavating, installing conduits with drag lines, and backfilling - Installing conduits within the towers - Installing foundations and supports for cabinets - Installing panel boards and cabinets for electrical and security systems - Installing wiring and fiber for lighting and security systems - Commissioning electrical, lighting, and security systems - Modifying existing AVI cabinet platforms and relocating the existing canopy and guardrails - Furnishing cameras for installation by MTA

Additional Information

This contract offers an Enhanced Utilization Credit (EUCI) to incentivize the use of MWBE firms that have had limited or no previous opportunities to contract with the MTA. Under the EUCI, an additional fifty percent (50%) credit is available toward the utilization of eligible firms for this contract.
