Background

The State University of New York at Oneonta is seeking qualifications from design firms/teams for the design and construction administration for the installation of medium temperature hot water heat exchangers and one electric domestic water heater, including pumps and controls at Sherman Hall. The project aims to replace one electrical panel, six Cabinet Unit Heaters, and controls. It may also involve asbestos abatement while ensuring compliance with current building codes. Sherman Hall was completed in 1966 and was recently converted from a residence hall to administrative space in 2025.

Work Details

The services required under this contract include: 1. Develop concept plans; 2. Conduct a HazMat Survey; 3. Submit schematic phase documentation; 4. Develop construction drawings; 5. Provide prebid submission and construction cost estimate; 6. Assist with project bidding and contract administration. The project budget is set at $750,000.
