Rice County Observation Well Drilling

Background

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) of the State of Minnesota is issuing a Request for Bid (RFB) for the installation of two groundwater observation wells at Sunktokeca Creek Wildlife Management Area near Faribault, Rice County. The goal of this contract is to legally and correctly install and complete these environmental wells as part of the DNR's mission to manage and protect Minnesota's natural resources.

Work Details

The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, herbicides, permits, licenses, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the installation of two groundwater observation wells. The work must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The unit price must include all costs associated with the project such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, and use tax. The contractor is responsible for reviewing all attachments related to this event and ensuring compliance with specifications.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon receipt of Notice to Proceed or when all required signatures are obtained by the State. The expiration date is set for November 13, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Sunktokeca Creek Wildlife Management Area near Faribault in Rice County, Minnesota.
