Hole 10 Culvert Replacement

This project involves the replacement of a culvert at CT Myers Golf Course. The work includes clearing, removing approximately 290 feet of CMP culvert, and installing approximately 290 feet of CPE culvert with a drop inlet structure, along with other ancillary items. Bids will be received by Mecklenburg County, NC, in the Woods Conference Room at the Office of the Land Use and Environmental Services Agency until 2:00 p.m. on July 2, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Bidders must ensure that their submissions are marked with the project name and their contact information. Each bid must include a certified check or a bid bond of at least five percent of the base bid amount as a guarantee. A performance and payment bond will be required from the successful bidder. All bidders must be licensed as General Contractors in compliance with NCGS 87. Bidders cannot withdraw their bids within 60 days of the bid opening. Mecklenburg County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive formalities. Bidders are encouraged to include certified Minority-owned or Women-owned Business Enterprises in their proposals, with specific achievement goals set for the project. Contract documents can be examined at the Mecklenburg County Land Use and Environmental Services Agency and Smith Gardner, Inc. Copies of the contract documents can be obtained from Smith Gardner, Inc. for a non-refundable fee of $150.00 per set, with additional charges for mailing. Electronic copies are available at no cost upon request. All bids must be submitted using the forms provided in the contract documents, and any questions regarding the scope of work must be submitted in writing to the designated contact at least seven days prior to the bid opening.
