Uniforms for Youth Cheer Program

Background

The City of Alabaster Parks and Recreation Department is seeking bids for youth cheerleading uniforms as part of their commitment to providing quality recreational programs for the community. The goal of this contract is to supply uniforms that meet the specifications outlined in the bid packet, ensuring that participants in the Alabaster Youth Cheer Programs are well-equipped for their activities.

Work Details

The contract involves providing the following items for the 2026 Cheerleading Programs: - 150 Youth Champion Heritage Double Knit Shells (white/black, Item Number: 1163TG) - 150 Youth Champion Heritage Double Knit Skirts (white/black, Item Number: 1163BG) - 150 Champion Spirit Flex Boy Cut Briefs (black, Item Number: 8216BG) - 150 Kaepa Cheerlyte Shoes (white, Item Number: 20211NG) - 300 Champion Plastic Solid 6" Poms (black, Item Number: P125NN) - 150 Challenger Glitter Backpacks (Item Number: 4037NN) - 150 Champion Red Bows (Item Number: 25101AN) All items must comply with the requirements set out in Appendix A of the bid documents.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and must ensure delivery of all uniforms at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the cheer season. Bids are due by July 6, 2026, at which point a successful bidder will be selected.

Place of Performance

All products must be delivered to the City of Alabaster Parks and Recreation Department located at 200 Depot Street, Alabaster, Alabama 35007.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with Alabama law including enrollment in the E-Verify program. They are required to submit a sealed bid using the provided bid form and include documentation as specified. The City reserves the right to require a bid bond and may utilize life cycle cost analysis in determining the lowest responsible bidder.
