Sealed Bids are being accepted for the construction of Transmission Mains by the Water Works Board of the City of Enterprise, Alabama. Bids must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the City Hall Conference Room, located at 501 S. Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330, where they will be publicly opened and read. Bids should be submitted as a single prime Contract and must adhere to the lump sum and unit price basis as specified in the Bid Form. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be accessed at the designated website: https://poly-inc.com/bidsite. Bidding Documents are available for download at no cost. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be provided exclusively through this website. The Owner and Engineer will not be responsible for any Bidding Documents, including addenda, obtained from other sources. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Poly, Inc., located at 1935 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL 36303, with a contact number of 334-793-4700. Prospective Bidders can review the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Copies of the Bidding Documents can be obtained from the Issuing Office as outlined. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. The Owner and Engineer will not be liable for any Bidding Documents, including addenda, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents can also be reviewed at the Water Works Board office at 501 S. Main Street, Enterprise, Alabama 36330, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents can be acquired from the Issuing Office with a deposit of $80.00 for each set, plus applicable shipping costs. Bidders returning full sets of Bidding Documents in good condition within 10 days after the Bid receipt will receive a full refund, minus shipping charges. Non-Bidders and those obtaining more than one set will receive a refund, less costs for printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution for documents returned in good condition within the specified time. No Bidding Documents will be issued within 72 hours of the scheduled Bid Opening. Bid security must be provided as per the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders submitting bids exceeding the amount set by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must provide evidence of their license before their Bid can be considered. Bidders must include their current license number during registration and clearly display it on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive technical errors if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate price and time with the lowest bidder.
