La Vida Nueva Security Improvements Project

Cesar Chavez Foundation is seeking qualified bidders for the La Vida Nueva Security Improvements Project in Albuquerque, NM. The project involves the removal and replacement of existing sliding glass doors and the installation of 316 iron security doors with metal frames at the front entry doors of designated residential units. The work includes full demolition, disposal, procurement, installation, sealing, and finishing to ensure that the door systems are weather-tight, secure, and fully operational. All replacement doors must be aluminum-framed and factory-finished in white. Substitutions for other materials or colors will not be accepted unless explicitly approved in writing by ownership/management. A Pre-Bid Conference and tour will be held on June 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the property located at 1200 Dickerson Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is strongly encouraged but not mandatory to qualify to submit a Bid Proposal. All bids must be postmarked by 5:00 PM MDT on July 10, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud through Teams on July 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM MDT. All bids will remain firm for 60 days after the bid opening. Cesar Chavez Foundation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a bid, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the Cesar Chavez Foundation.
