Work Details

The project involves resurfacing approximately 60,000 square feet of existing asphalt in the front parking lot. Key tasks include: 1. Resurfacing with a 2-inch layer of asphalt after milling the top layer. 2. Leveling the entrance from Halls Path to match the parking lot. 3. Cleaning the entire area by removing dirt, debris, weeds, and oil stains. 4. Machine edging to clear grass or dirt from asphalt edges. 5. Excavating and patching any potholes or failed base areas with hot mix asphalt before resurfacing. 6. Removing old railroad ties that meet the asphalt (removal will be handled by the Awarding Authority). 7. Cleaning and resurfacing around catch basins. 8. Re-striping the entire parking lot to match existing layouts, ensuring compliance with ADA requirements.
