Heating and Cooling Units Services and Repair for CEAP

Background

The City of Lubbock is seeking a contractor for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) to provide services related to the repair and installation of heating and cooling units. The goal of this contract is to ensure adequate coverage for the city's energy assistance needs. Multiple contracts may be awarded if deemed beneficial.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Service and repair of existing heating and cooling units. 2. Installation of portable air conditioning units. The City may select multiple vendors based on its needs, and actual usage may vary from estimated quantities provided in the bid.

Period of Performance

The contract will be for a term of one year, with an option for four one-year extensions, beginning upon formal approval.

Services will be performed within the City of Lubbock, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with insurance requirements, including: - Liability insurance ($500,000 per occurrence) - Automobile liability insurance ($500,000 combined single limit) - Workers' compensation insurance. Bidders must also provide proof of not engaging in business with Iran, Sudan, or foreign terrorist organizations as per Texas Government Code Section 2252.152.
