Uniforms & Mats Rentals

Background

The City of Hudson, Ohio, is seeking a contractor to provide uniform and mat rental services for its employees and city-owned buildings. The goal of this contract is to ensure that city employees are provided with appropriate work attire and mats that meet safety and operational standards.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following services and materials: 1. Uniforms including: - Embroidered Polo Work Shirts (60%/40% cotton/poly) - Short-sleeved 100% Cotton Work Shirts

Synthetic Long-sleeved Work Shirts

- 100% Cotton Work Pants

Synthetic Plain Front Pants

- Jeans (dark wash) - Cargo Pants (100% cotton and blends) - Synthetic Work Coveralls (summer-weight fabric) - Executive Pants and Shirts (various styles) - Flame Retardant Shirts, Pants, and Coveralls. 2. Mats including: - Rental Floor Mats in sizes 3x5, 3x10, 4x6, and 4x8 with vinyl/rubber backing. - Logo Floor Mats. 3. Other supplies such as shop towels, cloth roll towels, fender covers, air fresheners, urinal screens, mop heads, trash can liners, and laundering service for city-owned floor mats. The contractor must also provide laundering services for uniforms on a weekly basis, inspections/repairs of uniform items as needed, size changes at no additional charge, tracking reports for each item, and centralized collection bins for soiled uniforms.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on October 1, 2026, and will continue until September 30, 2028.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Hudson, Ohio.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a current Certificate of General and Automobile Liability Insurance in the amount of $1 million combined single limit before work begins. Bidders are required to submit an itemized log sheet daily for each location indicating delivery details and must comply with all local laws and regulations.
