Milton Grave Liners

Background

The Town of Milton, Massachusetts, is soliciting bids for the purchase of grave liners for the Milton Cemetery Commission. This contract aims to provide necessary grave liners for the cemetery's operations and is intended for one fiscal year with two optional extensions. The Town's mission includes maintaining the cemetery and ensuring proper burial services.

Work Details

The contract requires the provision of grave liners as follows: - 110 units of 30-inch grave liners with a two-piece cover, each cover equipped with four steel handles; - 15 units of 30-inch double depth liners, each containing an interior concrete divider and a one-piece top cover, also with four steel handles. Delivery of these grave liners will be made to the Milton Cemetery upon request from the Town.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution and is set to expire on June 30, 2027. There are options for two additional one-year extensions based on pricing outlined in Appendix A.

Place of Performance

The grave liners will be delivered to the Milton Cemetery located in Milton, Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate documented experience providing grave liners to similar-sized cemeteries in Massachusetts or surrounding regions. They must also show the ability to meet quantity requirements and have at least four years of industry experience. Bidders are required to submit a signed proposal along with certifications including Certificate of Vote, Certificate of Non-Collusion, and Certificate of Tax Compliance.
