The Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA) of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, on behalf of the Betsy Lehman Center for Patient Safety (BLC), is an independent agency established to improve health care quality and contain costs. CHIA's mission includes monitoring the Massachusetts health care system and providing reliable information for enhancing health care quality, affordability, utilization, access, and outcomes. BLC aims to improve patient safety and reduce preventable medical harm in Massachusetts. CHIA serves as BLC's fiscal agent for procurement purposes.

Work Details

CHIA seeks to contract with RainCastle Communications, LLC for continued hosting, support, and maintenance of BLC’s website (www.betsylehmancenterma.gov) along with two subdomain sites. The services include: - Back-end maintenance and updates of the primary website and subdomains. - Incremental improvements such as security updates, software updates, new templates for unique content, accessibility upgrades, search engine optimization, and design refreshes. - Additional multimedia and design projects as needed. The estimated value of this contract is $100,000 per year with renewal options for up to four additional years, totaling a maximum duration of five years.

Period of Performance

The current contract is set to expire on June 30, 2026. The new contract will potentially extend for up to five years from the start date.
