Unit 1 Boiler Reheat Superheater Replacement Installation (Sheldon Station)

The work requested under this contract involves the complete installation of the Unit 1 Boiler Superheater replacement at Sheldon Station. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for: - Removing original materials from the Unit 1 boiler - Installing new DISTRICT-supplied materials - Replacing the Reheat Superheater (RHSH) heating surface, including both the entire inlet and outlet sections - The RHSH replacement covers a total of 188 circuits: - Outlet section: 47 panels, each with 4 circuits - Inlet section: 63 panels (62 panels with 3 circuits each, and 1 panel with 2 circuits) - Replacing the reheat inlet and outlet refractory crown seals located within the boiler penthouse - Installing twelve (12) thermocouples on select RHSH outlet tubes This solicitation is issued by the DISTRICT.
