Concrete Pillars

Background

Iowa Prison Industries, located in Anamosa, IA, is soliciting bids for the provision of poured concrete pillars. The purpose of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to engage qualified providers to supply the specified goods and services as outlined in the RFB cover sheet and accompanying documents. The contract resulting from this RFB will not be exclusive.

Work Details

The successful contractor will provide poured concrete pillars as specified in the attached specification and delivery instructions. Specific requirements include: 1. Compliance with all mandatory requirements listed in Section 2.3; 2. Completion of Price Sheet(s); 3. Submission of a signed Certification Letter (Attachment #1); 4. Submission of a signed Authorization to Release Information Letter (Attachment #2). All deviations from the specifications must be clearly identified in the bid submission.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period will commence upon execution of the contract anticipated on July 14, 2026, and will continue as specified in the contract terms.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Iowa Prison Industries located at 406 North High Street, Anamosa, IA 52205.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific certifications including registration with the Iowa Department of Revenue for sales tax collection; completion and submission of a Certification Letter and an Authorization to Release Information Letter; and adherence to all mandatory requirements outlined in the RFB. Bids must be sealed and submitted by email before the due date.
