Remodel Two(2) Restrooms - 185 E Seneca Street

Background

The Oswego County Buildings and Grounds Department is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the remodel of two restrooms located at 185 E Seneca Street, Oswego, NY 13126. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities to meet current standards and improve accessibility.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: - Demolishing existing bathrooms and hallway partition walls; - Terminating all electrical in existing partition walls; - Constructing two unisex restrooms measuring 9' x 8'3"; - Running new plumbing to connect to the existing sewage holding tank; - Constructing a mechanical room measuring 4' x 5' to house the existing sewage pump and tank; - Ensuring that the restrooms comply with local codes and are ADA compliant.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to commence upon execution and delivery of the contract and will last for one year, with potential renewal by mutual agreement between both parties.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide evidence of their qualifications, including compliance with prevailing wage laws as per New York State Labor Law. They must also secure necessary bonds: a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each amounting to 100% of the contract price. Additionally, bidders must disclose any previous violations of labor laws within three years prior to submission.
