HVAC Services Bid

Background

The East Orange Board of Education in East Orange, New Jersey, is seeking competitive bids for HVAC services under Bid No. 3220. The mission of the Board is to provide quality education and maintain a conducive learning environment, which includes ensuring that HVAC systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. The goal of this contract is to secure reliable HVAC services for the school district for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive HVAC services, including but not limited to: installation, maintenance, repair, and emergency services for all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within the East Orange Board of Education facilities. Specific tasks may include routine inspections, cleaning of units, replacement of filters, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The contractor must also provide necessary parts and materials as required to complete the work.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to cover the entire 2026-2027 academic year.

Services will be performed at various locations within the East Orange Board of Education facilities located in East Orange, New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. regarding affirmative action requirements. A bid bond or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount (not exceeding $20,000) is required with each bid submission. Bidders must also submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Contractor Questionnaire/Certification along with their bids. Additionally, bidders must possess a valid Business Registration Certificate from the State of New Jersey.
