2026 Sigurd Town Chip Seal Project

Background

Sigurd Town is seeking bids for the 2026 Street Chip Seal Project, aimed at enhancing the quality of various town streets through chip seal coating. The project is part of Sigurd Town's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve local infrastructure, ensuring safe and accessible roadways for residents. The deadline for final completion of the project is August 31, 2026.

Work Details

The project includes chip sealing on specified roads, along with necessary preparation and cleanup work, traffic control, and notification to affected adjacent landowners. Specific areas to be chip sealed include: 1. 400 South from Canal Road to Main (approximately 650 square yards) 2. 300 South from Canal Road to Main (approximately 1,215 square yards) 3. 100 West from Center to Main (approximately 705 square yards) 4. Canal Road North from Center to Canal Bridge (approximately 640 square yards) 5. Canal Road South from Center to Main (approximately 6,650 square yards) 6. Sigurd Town Maintenance Yard (approximately 95 square yards) 7. Center Street from State Street to Canal Rd (approximately 4,335 square yards) Total Combined Chip Seal is approximately 14,290 square yards. Additionally, alternate pricing for road patching includes: 1. Canal Road - 1 ton asphalt patch 2. Rocky Ford Drive - 4.25 ton asphalt patch. The unit price will include site preparation, safety measures and traffic control, notifying adjacent property owners, minimizing downtime for access, placement of chip seal according to specifications and standards, repair of any damaged infrastructure during the project, and cleanup of loose gravel and excess material.

Period of Performance

The substantial completion deadline is August 30, 2026, with final completion by September 15, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed on various streets within Sigurd Town, Utah.

Bidder Requirements
