Work Details

The contractor will provide on-site medical diagnostic imaging services, including x-rays, ultrasounds, and EKGs. Services must be performed according to physician orders and accepted professional standards. Specific requirements include: - Availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with same-day delivery of x-ray results by telephone. - On-site imaging services two times per week for scheduled x-rays and as needed (PRN). - Response time of four hours for STAT x-ray needs and 24 hours for regular calls. - Use of Direct Radiography (DR) technology for all tests, allowing bedside viewing of images. - All imaging reports must be provided in computerized format with typed signatures. - Previous x-ray comparisons must be available upon request through HIPAA secure lines. - The contractor must ensure that all images are clear and readable before leaving the facility and take additional images at no charge if required by the radiologist.

Period of Performance

The contract period is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with potential for renewal.

Services will be performed at the Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation located at 4901 E. Patrick Henry Hwy, Burkeville, Virginia 23922.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered eVA procurement vendors to do business with the Commonwealth of Virginia. They should also provide proof of Joint Commission Accreditation and maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations throughout the contract term.
