Background

The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers for Water Monitoring Solutions. The agency's mission is to provide technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of government operations in Virginia. The goal of this contract is to implement a comprehensive water monitoring solution that meets the needs of VITA and its authorized users.

Work Details

The supplier will be responsible for providing a complete water monitoring solution, which includes the following services and products: - Installation of water monitoring systems at designated locations. - Provision of hardware and software necessary for real-time data collection and analysis. - Regular maintenance and support services for the installed systems. - Development of reporting tools that comply with VITA's requirements for data reporting and analysis. - Adherence to performance measures as outlined in Exhibit I, including timely delivery, accurate invoicing, and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). - The supplier must ensure that all quotes and invoices are accurate, with discrepancies not exceeding 1% of total amounts.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of twelve (12) months from the execution date, with potential extensions based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

The geographic location for the performance of this contract will primarily be within the Commonwealth of Virginia, at sites designated by VITA or its authorized users.

Bidder Requirements

Suppliers must comply with specific certifications such as M/WBE or SDVOSB if applicable. Additionally, suppliers are required to have valid registrations with VITA, possess necessary licenses for installation and maintenance services, and meet any insurance or bonding requirements specified in the solicitation.
