Boating Safety Boat Stress Balls

Background

The Department of Land and Natural Resources, specifically the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation (DOBOR), is seeking to enhance boating safety education through the provision of custom molded polyurethane foam speed boat stress balls. The goal of this contract is to promote boating safety awareness among the public by distributing these stress balls featuring a custom imprint and the DOBOR logo.

Work Details

The successful bidder shall provide 1,500 custom molded polyurethane foam speed boat stress balls with the following specifications: - Design, Color, Size: The stress balls must conform to specified dimensions, colors (White and PMS 300 Blue), and design as per approved artwork.

Hood/Bow Imprint Area

7/8" diameter circle with the DOBOR logo.

Side Imprint Area

2" W x 3/8" H with the text 'BOAT SMART, BOAT SAFE' on both sides.

Imprint Color

PMS 300 Blue.

Fabrication Requirements

The vendor must ensure all labor, materials, equipment, and services are provided to meet these specifications. Any modifications to artwork must be approved by DOBOR. - Workmanship must adhere to generally accepted manufacturing standards. - Packaging must prevent damage during handling and shipping. Delivery is required within sixty (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed within sixty (60) calendar days from the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

Delivery shall be made to DOBOR Boating Safety Education Section, 4 Sand Island Access Road, Honolulu, HI 96819.

Bidder Requirements

The successful bidder must comply with Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) at the time of award and is responsible for ensuring that all products conform to specified requirements. The vendor must also guarantee that all stress balls are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of six (6) months from delivery.
