DESCRIPTION This is a Sources Sought Notice to identify consultants to provide necessary construction work to mitigate soil erosion in an area referred to as Sector 30. This is not a solicitation for proposal or quotations and no award will be made from this Notice. SLAC intends to issue a formal solicitation later based on responses from this Source Sought Notice.

PLANNED SCOPE AND DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

SLAC is seeking a qualified general contractor to perform construction work to mitigate soil erosion in an area referred to as Sector 30. This project aims to remove and replace the current failed pavement, slope, earthwork, and storm drain and install permanent vegetation and erosion control measures. Site visits were performed on April 22, 2025 and January 15, 2026 to review the existing conditions. The project area includes an approximately 12- to 13-foot-tall hillside slope, sloping downward from north to south, with a slope gradient ranging from approximately 1:1 to 4:1 (horizontal: vertical). The erosion area is next to a sediment basin structure 30F-7 that flows into catch basin 30F-11. The asphalt concrete pavement is approximately 285.5 feet in elevation and slopes down approximately 13 feet to the catch basin.
