Summary (Newest Update)

Background The 355th Maintenance Group at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is seeking to procure a complete work center solution for the 55th Rescue Generation Squadron's Mobility Section. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the product will be delivered to or performed at. Place of Performance All items will be delivered to Building 1446, located at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. Bidder Requirements This procurement is set aside for Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB). Bidders must provide technical documentation for any proposed 'Or Equal' items to demonstrate compliance with functional and dimensional characteristics specified in the solicitation. Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail) This opportunity appears to have a closely related prior contract for the same unit (55 RGS) involving procurement of office furniture. In FA487725P0094, Transact Commercial Furnishings was awarded $101,856 (05/15/25–08/13/25) for the purchase and installation of office cubicles, desks, cabinets, and tables, which aligns with the current requirement to deliver integrated mobility workstation assemblies and associated storage cabinets/carts. The scope suggests a continuation of furnishing upgrades to support the squadron’s workspace needs rather than a wholly new functional requirement.
