Background The Department of Defense, specifically the Defense Health Agency, is issuing this contract to provide Ultra-high Purity and High Purity Medical Gases Delivery for the Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene Laboratory (CIHL) at the Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit TWO (NEPMU2) in Norfolk. The CIHL conducts analytical services related to industrial hygiene, analyzing over 18,000 samples annually. The gases provided under this contract are essential for the laboratory's scientific instruments used in sample analysis, and any disruption in supply could lead to work stoppages and increased turnaround times for customers. Work Details The contractor is required to deliver the following gases: - Ultra-high Purity Argon: 180 Dewar, Quantity: 50 annually - Ultra-high Purity Helium: 300 Cylinder, Quantity: 31 annually - Ultra-high Purity Helium: 80 Cylinder, Quantity: 1 annually - High Purity Hydrogen: 300 Cylinder, Quantity: 10 annually - Ultra-high Purity Nitrogen: 300 Cylinder, Quantity: 15 annually. All gases must be delivered within a standard wait time of no more than 48 hours for routine requests and within 24 hours for emergency requests. The contractor must ensure that all goods are delivered in good condition and meet purity standards.
