Belt Filter Press PLC Programming

Work Requested

The City of Toledo DPW/Water Reclamation is seeking bids for a project focused exclusively on PLC programming and Wonderware HMI updates for Belt Filter Presses (BFPs) 1, 3, and 5. These presses are located on the 5th floor of the Sludge Dewatering Building (SDB) at the Bay View Water Reclamation Facility.

Background

The project is part of ongoing improvements at the Bay View Water Reclamation Facility, specifically targeting the automation and control systems associated with the Belt Filter Presses in the Sludge Dewatering Building.

Contract Requirements

- All City forms must be completed and attached to the bid. Required paperwork includes: Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Conditions, Contract Specifications, Primary and Subcontractor Forms, Living Wage Contract Addendum, and Best Bid Criteria. - Other required forms include those listed in the Response Type Section and Other Details Section: Signed Construction Contract and a Bid Guaranty of 2.5%. - Upon contract award, the following will be required: Payment Bond, Performance Bond, and Project Labor Agreement (PLA), if applicable. - The successful bidder must submit certified payrolls to the City for all labor performed on the project, starting two weeks after the project start date and then weekly thereafter. - A pre-construction meeting with the Contract Compliance office is required prior to the commencement of work.

Instructions on Submission

- Bids must be submitted electronically via the City of Toledo's PlanetBids portal. - Bid submission or transmission is not considered complete until an email confirmation is received from PlanetBids. - Bid prices must be provided to two (2) decimal places.
