Supply of Manhole Frame Materials for Eagle River Street Maintenance

Background

The Municipality of Anchorage is issuing Invitation to Bid No. 2026B050 for the supply of manhole frame materials specifically for the Eagle River Street Maintenance Department. The goal of this contract is to furnish necessary materials to support the maintenance and operations of municipal infrastructure.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following items: 1. Precast Catch Basin (3 units) as per M.A.S.S. Section 55.05 and Detail 55-22. 2. Catch Basin Inlet for Type 2 Curb and Gutter (5 units) as per M.A.S.S. Section 55.09 and Detail 55-21. 3. Manhole Frame (Slotted) with customized slotted lids (31 units) as per attached specifications. 4. Base Pad for Type I Manhole (10 units) as per M.A.S.S. Section 55.05 and Detail 55-4. All items must be new and come with a manufacturer's warranty, if applicable.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon execution and will continue through November 30, 2026, without options for extension.

Place of Performance

Delivery will be made to the Municipality of Anchorage's Eagle River Street Maintenance Department at 8501 VFW Road, Eagle River, AK 99577.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including general liability and workers' compensation. They must also list the Municipality of Anchorage as an additional insured on all relevant policies. Additionally, bidders are required to submit a completed Contractor Questionnaire within five days upon request by the Purchasing Officer.
