Background

The City of Jacksonville, Florida, through its Environmental Quality Division, is seeking bids for the design, construction, and delivery of a specialized air monitoring shelter. This initiative aims to enhance the city's capacity for environmental monitoring by providing a dedicated facility for ambient air monitoring equipment. Work Details

The contractor will design, build, and deliver a 12' x 8' walk-in aluminum ambient air monitoring shelter that includes: - HVAC systems - Electrical installations - Roof access and safety systems - A meteorological tower - Hurricane tie-downs The contractor must also provide all necessary engineering drawings along with Florida PE-sealed calculations. Demonstrated prior experience in constructing air monitoring shelters is required.

Period of Performance

The contract is structured as a one-time purchase agreement that will commence upon the execution of the purchase order or contract. It will continue until the completion and acceptance of the specified scope of work.
