The School Board of Brevard County, Florida is seeking sealed responses for the procurement of diplomas and diploma covers. The goal of this contract is to furnish approximately 5,000 diplomas and diploma covers for use by the School Board, which operates numerous schools in the district. The district aims to ensure that all graduating students receive their diplomas in a timely and professional manner.
The contractor will provide approximately 5,000 diplomas and diploma covers with the following specifications: - **Diplomas:** - Quantity: Approximately 5,000 diplomas to be supplied and delivered to individual schools for graduating classes starting in 2027. - Workmanship: Thermograph raised printing with clear sharp copy in black ink. Each diploma will feature the School Board Seal on a 6" x 8" size insert. - Stock: 100% rag content diploma parchment, cream white engrosser’s finish. - Printing: Rich black non-fading ink, sharp and clean. - Engrossing: Mechanically engrossed with graduate's name and date of graduation. - **Cases:**
Morocco grained leatherette, pyroxylin coated for a diploma insert size of 6" x 8".
Warp resistant .060-inch thickness binder’s board (Red Label Davey Board or equivalent). No chip or straw board allowed. - Padding: Lamination of cotton wadding glued to case board with additional lamination separating wadding from cover material. - Stamping: Non-tarnishable gold leaf lettering on cases as required for each high school in the county.
Two pads (6" x 8") with corner places to secure the diploma snugly, made from white moiré acetate.
The contract period will commence upon award and will cover the delivery of diplomas and diploma covers for graduating classes starting in 2027.
Delivery will be made to individual schools within Brevard County, Florida.
