The City of Dunkirk is seeking sealed bids for the Sidewalk Replacement Project (PY25 CDBG). The scope of work includes: - Excavation of existing sidewalks - Construction of new sidewalks This project is part of the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Background

This project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and aims to improve sidewalk infrastructure within the City of Dunkirk.

Contract Requirements

- Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount, in the form and subject to the conditions outlined in the Information for Bidders. - No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of bid opening. - This contract is subject to the higher of the New York Department of Labor and Federal Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rate determinations. - Contractors must adhere to NYS DOL prevailing wage schedules in paying wages to employees. The prevailing wage schedules in effect at the time of contract execution shall control. - Contractors must be registered with the NYS DOL Contractor Registry List prior to bidding. - NYS Certified payroll must be submitted online, as well as copies of those forms to the City of Dunkirk.

- Sealed bids will be received at the City Clerk's Office, 342 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY 14048, starting at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, May 22nd, 2026, until 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. - Forms and specifications for the work will be available beginning June 22nd, 2026, at the City of Dunkirk Planning & Development Office, 342 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY 14048. - Bid documents will also be available online at the City's Website RFP Page ( link ) and on the NYS Contract Reporter ( link ).
