The project aims to manage invasive species that threaten the ecological balance of this important recreational area. Work Details The contractor is required to provide herbicide application services to control and eradicate invasive species on approximately 43 acres on the Maryland side of Jennings Randolph Lake. The primary target species include spicebush (Lindera benzoin), multiflora rose (Rosa multiflora), bush honeysuckle (Lonicera spp.), and Japanese barberry (Berberis thunbergii). The contractor must ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations during herbicide application. Deliverables include: 1) Completion of herbicide application services within the designated area; 2) Submission of herbicide application reports documenting treatment areas, target species treated, and herbicides used; 3) A post-application assessment report evaluating treatment effectiveness.
