Highlands Restroom Renovation

Background

The City of Jacksonville is seeking a contractor to provide professional services for the renovation of public restrooms at the Highlands Regional Branch Library, located at 1826 Dunn Ave., Jacksonville, FL. The library is a vital community resource that requires updates to its facilities to enhance customer experience and meet current standards. This project is federally funded and must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: - Renovation of men's, women's, public, and family restrooms; - Installation of new fixtures, partitions, wall tiles, and flooring; - Electrical upgrades to lighting. The renovations aim to create a more seamless, barrier-free, welcoming, safe, clean, and appealing environment for library patrons. Contractors must provide proof of at least three restroom renovation projects valued over $100,000 completed in the last five years.
