Pool Pumps

Background

The Broward County Parks and Recreation Division is seeking to procure two commercial pool circulation pump assemblies for T.Y. Park – Castaway Island. The goal of this contract is to ensure uninterrupted public pool operations by providing pumps that meet specific hydraulic and electrical configurations.

Work Details

The contract involves the purchase and delivery of two (2) TACO CI5011D commercial pool circulation pump assemblies, each with a 30 HP, 3-phase motor operating at 60 Hz and dual-rated voltage of 230/460 V. The pumps must be epoxy coated, capable of delivering a performance of 1400 GPM at 60' TDH, and include accessories such as two ANSI Flange Kits (6” and 5”) and two V-Coupling Flex Reducers for discharge. Delivery must be made to T.Y. Park, located at 3300 N Park Rd, Hollywood, FL, during specified hours with all shipping costs included in the unit price.

Period of Performance

The delivery of the pumps is expected to occur within the timeframe specified in the solicitation. Deliveries will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Place of Performance

Delivery will take place at T.Y. Park, located at 3300 N Park Rd, Hollywood, FL 33021.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must provide proof of insurance as per the Minimum Insurance Requirements Form which includes general liability insurance with minimum limits of $500,000 per occurrence and aggregate. Workers' compensation insurance is required with statutory limits. Vendors must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
