835-27 Central Hydraulic Systems

Background

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is issuing this invitation to bid to establish a contract for Central Hydraulic Systems. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary hydraulic systems and components that meet the specifications set forth by ODOT, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Work Details

The contractor will supply Central Hydraulic Systems as per the specifications outlined in the solicitation. The equipment must conform to industry standards and include all necessary parts for a complete unit. The successful bidder must ensure that all products meet the latest engineering changes from the manufacturer and comply with all federal and state regulations. Additionally, a prototype may be required within 10 days of request, and delivery of units must occur within 84 days after receipt of Purchase Order. All systems delivered must be marked with an ODOT provided OPI number. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made during specified hours and to designated locations across ODOT's twelve districts in Ohio.

Period of Performance

The contract duration is set for twelve (12) months from the date of award.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed across various locations within Ohio, specifically to any of ODOT’s twelve districts and eighty-eight counties.

Bidder Requirements

This invitation to bid is reserved exclusively for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) certified by the State of Ohio. Bidders must submit a copy of their MBE certification letter showing compliance with the United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC): 25172800 for hydraulic systems and components. Additionally, bidders must be registered with the Ohio Secretary of State and comply with E-Verify Workforce Integrity Act provisions.
