On-Call Fencing - Replace, Repair, Remove and Install

Background

Multnomah County is seeking contractors to provide on-call fencing services, including repair, removal, and installation at various locations throughout the County. The County manages a diverse portfolio of over 3.4 million square feet of buildings that serve multiple functions such as health services, detention, libraries, shelters, offices, fleet shops, and courthouses. The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and efficient fencing services to meet the needs of these facilities.

Work Details

The contractor will provide on-call fencing services for a variety of commercial properties for Multnomah County. Services include: - Installation and repairs of chain link perimeter fencing. - Installation and repair of corrugated and expanded metal fencing. - Installation and repair of custom fencing. - Installation and repair of barb wire and razor wire. - Estimating and quoting specific jobs. - 24-hour emergency services. - Shop drawings when required. All work will be performed on an as-needed basis with no guarantees on minimum work volume.

Period of Performance

The contract term shall be for five (5) years from the initial contract execution date.

Place of Performance

Various locations around Multnomah County.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be legal entities currently registered to do business in the State of Oregon. They are encouraged to include diverse suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors in their operations. Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project for repairs and maintenance work as per ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870.
