Galvanized Service Line Replacement Program Unit Price General Construction

Background

The Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) is issuing a solicitation for the Galvanized Service Line Replacement Program, identified as CIP No. 275-01. This project aims to replace galvanized service lines on the private side of the service line to improve water quality and infrastructure. Work Details

The project involves furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc., necessary for the complete and operable installation of the replacement of galvanized services on the private side of the service line, along with all associated appurtenances as described in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. Period of Performance

The project requires substantial completion within 270 consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed and final completion within 300 consecutive calendar days from the same date.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at locations specified within the jurisdiction of Orange Water and Sewer Authority in Carrboro, North Carolina.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess valid North Carolina General Contractor’s Licenses for the type and value of work to be performed. Additionally, there is a minimum participation goal of ten percent (10%) for minority businesses in accordance with Section 143-128.2 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. Each bidder is required to submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit pursuant to Section 133-30 of the General Statutes.
