Work Details

Bidders are required to provide fresh eggs that meet the following specifications: - Eggs must be either brown or white, U.S. Grade A, medium or large loose pack. - Each case should contain either 15 or 30 dozen eggs. - Eggs must be USDA inspected and stamped & dated no more than 17 days prior to delivery. - Delivery temperature must not exceed 45 degrees Fahrenheit. - All food products must be properly labeled regarding identity and origin. - The awarded brand will be expected for delivery; substitutions will not be accepted. - All commodities must meet current USDA standards for grades required. Delivery is scheduled for the week of June 22nd through June 26th, 2026, to various facilities including Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility, Central Warehouse, Denver Women’s Correctional Facility, Limon Correctional Facility, and Sterling Correctional Facility.

Period of Performance

The anticipated purchase order start date is June 18, 2026, with deliveries expected during the week of June 22nd through June 26th, 2026.

Place of Performance

Deliveries will be made to the following locations: - Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility (Crowley, CO) - Central Warehouse (Canon City, CO) - Denver Women’s Correctional Facility (Denver, CO) - Limon Correctional Facility (Limon, CO) - Sterling Correctional Facility (Sterling, CO).

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes regarding accessibility standards and submit a certificate of insurance evidencing coverage as required by the Purchase Order prior to execution. Bidders must also confirm registration with the Colorado Secretary of State and agree to the terms outlined in the Purchase Order.
