Stockwell Road Improvements Project - Delaware County

Background

The Stockwell Road Improvements Project is initiated by the Delaware County Transportation Improvement District, aiming to enhance transportation infrastructure in Porter and Trenton Townships, Ohio. The project involves the reconstruction of a rural 2-lane roadway and the installation of roundabouts to improve traffic flow and safety.

Work Details

The project scope includes: 1. Reconstruction of 987 feet of rural 2-lane roadway with vertical curve improvements. 2. Construction of a single lane roundabout at the intersection of S. County Line Rd (CR51) and Fancher Rd (CR20). 3. Installation of additional roundabouts at the intersections of S. County Line Rd (CR51), Center Village Rd (CR25), Edwards Rd (CR59), and Duncan Plains Rd (CR33). 4. Improvements will include construction of asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, stormwater updates, street lighting, and traffic control measures.

Period of Performance

The estimated commencement date for the work is July 8, 2026, with a completion deadline set for October 2, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in Porter and Trenton Townships, Delaware County, Ohio, specifically between State Route 61 and Creek Road.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit their proposals electronically through www.bidexpress.com by the specified deadline. A bid security in the form of a bid bond for 100% of the bid amount or a certified check for 10% is required. A performance bond for 100% of the total project cost is also mandatory. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage requirements as per Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4115.
