Tree Removal and Stumping Services

Background

The Town of Killingly is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Tree Removal and Stumping Services. The goal of this contract is to manage the removal and disposal of trees and brush in designated areas, ensuring compliance with local regulations regarding disposal sites.

Work Details

The successful bidder will provide a Base Bid proposal that includes the following services: cutting, removal, and disposal of trees and brush within the specified area marked in the field and shown on the site plan included with this RFP. The chosen disposal location(s) must be clearly stated and permitted to accept the specified quantities of material. The trees and brush may either be hauled off-site or chipped and blown into the woods outside of the clearing limits.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on June 12, 2026, and conclude on July 14, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the site located at 226 Putnam Pike, Killingly, CT 06239.

Bidder Requirements

All vendors are eligible to respond to this bid. A mandatory site walk is scheduled for June 17, 2026, at 9 AM at the specified location.
